Site survey

A physical visit to a venue to record what is actually there: access points, dimensions, power, floor loading, restrictions.

Why it matters operationally

Drawings are out of date and venue contacts are optimistic. The survey is what turns a venue from an address into an operational picture, and the facts it produces — which gate a forty-foot trailer can actually use, which lift reaches the concourse — determine what is possible for the whole build.
