Reusable stock

Material expected to survive the event and be used again — furniture, barriers, signage frames, cabins, cable.

Why it matters operationally

Reusable stock is the strongest economic argument for running events on a shared record. Its cost lands once and is amortised across events, but only if what exists is known before the next event starts buying. An organization that cannot say what it already owns buys it again.

The catalog carries over between events, which is the point at which what you already own stops being a spreadsheet somebody kept.
